ABOUT SHOW
What is the best thing in the world to be? Ordinary grass or a beautiful herb, a mouse or a bird? What about a person? A performance for all generations about the will to live and survive.
The main creative approach here is recycling – the ever-repeating cycle of life, the new telling of old stories and the afterlife of tools and props, for which the creators plundered their magical warehouses. For example, a collection from earlier performances of bird decoys, mechanical metronomes and seemingly ordinary objects that hide magical sounds await their opportunity to shine.
The audience will be given the chance to participate in creating the soundscape of the story.
Mirka Eliášová, the author and choreographer of the popular children’s shows Paper World, Momo and Boxing Up, has been working with the BERG Orchestra, which specializes in contemporary music, for many years. In the new performance, dance performers Jazmína Piktorová and Radim Klásek will be joined on stage by top musicians and improvisers Jana Kubánková and Radek Doležal as well as composer Jana Vöröšová.
