ABOUT SHOW

A Dance Performance as an Unlikely Encounter

Nine human bodies that would otherwise never meet so closely—let alone dance together.

We stand side by side, lower our eyes, perhaps exchange a timid greeting and a shy smile. Youth and old age blend and separate on stage. One moment, we are full of strength; the next, as fragile as a frozen branch. Dance and movement become an attempt to catch up with the relentless arrow of time, which drives everything from order to chaos. A shared effort to resist it. To break free. To escape. To run toward it.

The performance explores the magical and mysterious relationship between the human body, the order of time, and natural cycles. It perceives old age as part of the process of entropy—natural, sometimes terrifying, yet suddenly comical. Youth enters as the only way to capture old age for a fleeting moment before it dissolves.
