ABOUT SHOW

The interactive dance performance draws children and adults into a world of wonders, fairy tales, and fulfilled wishes, where even grown-ups can feel like children. Together, you enter a magical time of play and imagination, where an ordinary room can transform into a labyrinth, sleds, a Christmas tree, or even an entire city. Every moment becomes a new adventure, awakening creativity, playfulness, and the joy of discovery. Children actively engage in the story, exploring the space, cooperating, and experiencing magic firsthand. Adults can also rediscover the joy and wonder of childhood and share unforgettable moments with the little ones.
Although the performance is inspired by winter fun and traditions, the magical winter fairy tale can be enjoyed at any time of the year. It brings the atmosphere of winter magic – decorating trees, singing carols, building nativity scenes, or baking cookies – while offering interactive play and adventure that draws children and families into the story. Every movement, dance, and game reveals a new secret and encourages creativity, imagination, and shared joy.
The performance celebrates children’s imagination, play, and shared experiences. It provides space for creativity, discovery, and laughter, whether it is winter, spring, summer, or autumn. Every participant becomes part of a fairy-tale world, evoking happiness, excitement, and the magic of shared moments, leaving the sense that miracles can happen anytime during the year.

ABOUT AUTHOR

Yana Reutova

Yana worked as a dancer, choreographer and teacher in the Odessa region. In 2014 she founded Dance Theatre Plastilin and created several performances receiving some awards. She organized the Dance Platform Most festival (5 years) and worked a lot with children (Creative Kids project) and her students. After that she started the Speaking with the Body festival, which took place only once. In March 2022, she took her daughter and several students and fled from the war to Prague, where she now works.

She has contributed to projects by other choreographers and also leads workshops for children called “Dance with the Heart” and dance lessons for professionals, “Krenovka open classes.” She is now focusing on developing her own creations in collaboration with artists.

Her triptych concept “Together Alone” succeeded in the European competition within the first EFFEA Open Call https://www.effea.eu/ and was one of the 40 supported projects.
