Closing Evening of the Czech Dance Platform 2026 offers a space to look back on the past few days together, share impressions, and enjoy an informal gathering of participants, artists, and audience members. Closing Evening provides an opportunity to pause, reflect on this year’s program, and revisit selected moments through a short video that captures the atmosphere of the entire season.
The evening will also include a screening of the dance film Picturam by Eva Rezová.
Picturam is a short dance film loosely inspired by da Vinci’s painting The Last Supper. It explores the historical form of the painting and transposes it into the contemporary world of a male community. It draws inspiration from the visual arts and examines the transformation of a static image into a living form.
(Director’s note: The film was created based on my original performance Picturam – a dance-dramatic production in the contemporary dance genre. I was therefore interested in how to translate fragments of the choreography into the language of film and capture the movement material through the camera lens.)
The film has received awards at several festivals:

- Prague Dance Film Festival 2025 – Honorable Mention
- Prague Dance Film Festival 2025 – Audience Award
- ZED Festival Bologna 2025 – Special Mention for Cinematography
- FOFR Festival Prague 2025 – Best Experimental Film by a Filmmaker Under 30
